RESISTANCE TRAINING
Group Power: Group Power is your hour of power! This 60 minute barbell program strengthens all your major muscles in an inspiring, motivating group environment with fantastic music and awesome instructors. With simple, athletic movements such as squats, lunges, presses and curls, Group Power is for all ages and fitness levels. Discover results, discover Group Power!
AB ATTACK :The name says it all! Work your core and attack your abdominal muscles in just 15 minutes!
CARDIO & CARDIO/RESISTANCE COMBINATION
CARDIO BLAST : A 45 minute session of heart pumping, calorie burning cardio and 15 minutes of core training. This class uses jump ropes, step aerobics, kickboxing and boot camp techniques to make up one hour of well spent gym time.
CARDIO COMBO : This class combines a mix of cardio and resistance training ,full of surprises to push your limits. Consists of floor aerobics, step power moves, and kicks and jabs. You won’t get bored!
CARDIO SCULPT : Two classes in one! A great way to burn calories and increase strength. Class with alternate cardio training with resistance training for a fantastic, fun and effective workout!
CARDIO PILATES : A blend of cardio dance, Pilates and strengthening designed to improve you flexibility and posture while reshaping trunk core musculature. By integrating classic Pilates moves with dynamic, energy-infused movement, Cardio Pilates is a workout for anyone who enjoys the focused mind-body synergy of yoga, Pilates, and dance.
KARDIO KICKBOXING : Easy to follow kickboxing choreography set to music. This class will elevate the heart rate and challenge muscles.
ZUMBA! : “Ditch the workout, JOIN THE PARTY!” The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. Zumba® Fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!
YOGA/PILATES
INTENSITY LEVELS: Level 1: Beginner, Level 2: Intermediate, Level 3: Advanced
PILATES MAT 1-3 : This class is designed to provide the fundamental exercises of Pilates mat work that will improve mobility, core strength, and flexibility.
HATHA YOGA 1-2 : General Yoga class focusing on basic yoga postures, proper alignment, breathing, flexibility, muscular strength, and concentration.
BEGINNING YOGA 1 : Gentle yoga class developed for students who are new to yoga. This class emphasizes basic yoga postures designed to build core strength, heal old injuries, and increase overall flexibility.
YOGA PLUS 1-3 : Challenging class combining the isometric, internal forces of yoga posture with the eccentric/concentric external forces of resistance equipment. This class will improve the condition of your joints, strengthen postural muscles, and help to create a strong core.
Spinning (Second Floor)
SPINNING 101 : Class designed for the beginner. Learn how to properly set up the spinning bike and get all your questions answered. Participant will also be taken through a beginners class to learn technique and safety. Class offered periodically, watch for signs posted throughout club for dates and times.
INTERVAL SPINNING : This class emphasizes speed, tempo, timing and rhythm. Interval training alternates between high and low aerobic intensities, ranging from work efforts of 80-92% of maximum heart rate and recovery periods of 65% of maximum heart rate.
ENDURANCE SPINNING : This class is designed to train the body to be more efficient at metabolizing fat by maintain a comfortable pace for an extended period of time. Great for increasing pedal efficiency and hip flexor strength while working at 65-75% of maximum heart rate.
STRENGTH RIDE : This class is a great way to build up muscular and cardiovascular ability by simulating challenging hill climbing. Participants are encouraged to train at 75-85% of their maximum heart rate.
ALL TERRAIN SPINNING : This class does it all, incorporating endurance, strength and interval training, with a mix of flat roads, jumps and climbs.
NOTE: All participants are encouraged to bring a heart monitor watch to all Spinning classes. Please bring towels and water. Wipe down your bike after use and avoid spraying cleaner directly onto bike. ***New participants PLEASE arrive to class EARLY and introduce yourself to the instructor.
