Louisville Athletic Club – Dixie Announces Expansion

November 21, 2016

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Louisville Athletic Club announced today the expansion at our newest location due to the tremendous growth and reception from the Dixie Highway community. Located at 10205 Dixie Highway across the street from Valley High School. Our Dixie Highway location opened on December 24, 2014 and today we are happy to announce we are adding another 8,000 sq. ft. and will occupy the entire building. This expansion will allow us to be 25,000 sq. ft on the inside and an additional 8000 sq. ft outside totaling 33,000 sq. ft.

“Phase 1 has resulted in an overwhelming welcome to the community,” said Dixie Highway General Manger, Jacob A. Wardrip. “With that being said, we are well ahead of schedule and Phase 2 will begin immediately. We hope to fill this additional space with some functional and unique pieces, while also adding more of the pieces our members utilize the most.” Wardrip continued.

“Our goal is and always has been to provide a wide variety of the best equipment, workout programming and great instruction in an encouraging workout environment,” says Jeff Graue, Managing Partner of the chain of fitness clubs. “We are grateful that Louisville has embraced our health clubs and we want to continue to provide high quality, yet affordable facilities for the community to enjoy. This expansion allows us to add more equipment for our quickly growing location.”

“Guests and members notice a striking difference in our clubs the moment they walk in the door,” says Bob Scott, Area Director for LAC.  “We believe that by providing excellent customer service as well as a clean, beautiful facility combined with state of the art equipment and programming, we satisfy the needs of our members. This expansion further illustrates our belief in this market and more specifically the Dixie Highway area.”

Louisville Athletic Club anticipates the expansion to take place immediately as designing is already in the works. The expansion is expected to be complete January 2017.
