There are a variety of weight-training options at Louisville Athletic Club. You can choose from an extensive selection of free-weights, kettlebells, plate-loaded machines, or circuit machines. Weight-training not only builds muscle but strengthens the bones and increases the metabolism. It is an integral part of any fitness routine. Weight training increases metabolic function, improves body composition, and supports healthy bone density. If you are new to lifting weights many group fitness classes incorporate weight training into their routines.
