AN INTERVIEW WITH MELANIE MIKE FOR THE MY JOURNEY STORY SERIES.
LAC: When did you decide to start making your health a priority (what or whom inspired this decision) and what were your goals?
Melanie: I decided to make a change in my lifestyle in January 2016. I physically felt bad and knew that I wanted to make a healthy change to have more energy everyday.
LAC: How did you get started and what did you do to improve your health?
Melanie: I began tracking my food intake and started group fitness classes here at LAC.
LAC: How did you stay motivated and what was the biggest challenge?
Melanie: I stayed motivated by coming with friends and making new friends in the group fitness classes. The instructors are awesome as well!
LAC: What positive changes did you see in your life and what did you learn throughout this process?
Melanie: I have lost 30 pounds and I am stronger and happier!
LAC: Final Thoughts? Is there anything else you would like share about your story?
Melanie: Group fitness classes are so motivating and fun! High recommended. Also! Don’t give up!!
